Book of the Month
Humans of New York is light-hearted with just a touch of thought provoking interviews. The Author Brandon Stanton is an incredible specimen of a human along with a brilliant photographer.
He captures the human spirit in the everyday life off the streets of New York. If you haven’t heard of his work, go follow his page on Instagram or Facebook.
Reading through every short story is inspirational. It goes from funny to serious with a simple turn of the page.
I followed Humans of New York for a couple of years now, but I currently thought I couldn’t live without this book. It makes for the perfect coffee table accessory. If you love people watching than this book is for you. He interviews hundreds of people from all walks of life, all with different and intriguing tell all stories. Plus there’s micro fashion, you can’t go wrong with kid’s cute outfits. I love the micro fashion trends going on right now called “mini-mes.” That’s where children are dressed in mini tasteful adult clothes.
So if anyone is looking for a good read, and not fully committed to the idea of a novel check out Humans of New York.
